Hello.

I have quite few a problems:

First of all, i'm running Sheepshaver with Mac OS 9.0.4 on a Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit machine.

The first thing i can't get to work is my wireless internet.

When i'm enabling it from the GUI and starting Sheepshaver, i'm getting a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" error, saying "This applicationhas requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way." It works fine with the ethernet tho.

The second thing is, i'm using sheepshaver to work on files i'm getting in and out from e-mail and FTP-server. But i can't acces FTP or E-mail from Sheepshaver properly, so i need to get the files i'm working with exported out of sheepshaver.
But when i'm trying to reach either the C-drive (harddrive) or the E-drive (a USB-pen), sheepshaver exits without any error or anything.

What can i do?

Problem the first: Are you using NAT-ROUTER or slirp to get at your internet? Try one, and maybe then try the other. Slirp is the easiest and works best for me. And, also, at what point does it crash, exactly?

Problem the second: When does it crash? What causes it?

I think that I am using a nat, I don't know what slirp is.

The second problem comes when i'm trying to acces my local harddisk outside sheepshaver.
When i double-click the C or E icon inside My Computer in SS, SS just crash with no warning.

I don't know what a slirp is either, but in the SheepShaver GUI you can select slirp as an option for networking:

Can you try that?

A slightly easier easier way to get online in the emulator. Keep in mind, also, that if you use the IE or Netscape versions that come with Mac OS, they will crash the emulator just like you described. Best stick to using Classilla.

Not sure what to suggest about the My Computer crash. That's new to me. But I guess if you get the networking sorted out it will be less urgent.
