Using router instead of slirp

I read the FAQ and see that I can use 'router' instead of slirp but I can't get it to work at all. I'm running 7.5.5 and open transport 1.1.2. My network uses IPs such as 192.168.1.x instead of 192.168.0.x which the FAQ and several tutorials use. Is that the issue? I've set the TCP/IP settings to both and rebooted my virtual mac but to no avail. Sometimes, it even crashes the emulated OS.

I'm running the latest Sheepshaver on an intel Mac.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum. For OSX users only slirp and tap* networking are available. The Nat/Router option works on other hosts.

*tap networking works on 32 bit systems and enables appletalk to work, but requires a somewhat elaborate workaround. It is described in our guide here: http://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/app ... heepshaver
