I liek the first three.

Seriously though. Pretty fucking exciting, sort of. I'm still torn between "no longer giving a shit" and "not believeing that it actually happened."

Believe me, being able to finally do this on a PC is a big shock to me. I wasn't really expecting being able to run PPC applications and OSes until "someday" in the (far) future. I'm feeling weird, like this isn't happening. 8O

But it is still a little rough. I'm running the above on a Pentium Pro 180 MHz which may have something to do with it. SheepShaver runs perhaps 75% as fast as Basilisk II.

But wow, it finally happened! :P

Christ, man. Bust the hard drive out of that machine and throw it in your newer PC (I like to make assumptions). I haven't even been able to bring myself to compile it; laziness is overpowering the thrill and forcing me to wait for a binary.

FUNSIDENOTE: your first three images aren't showing up. :|

Any chance that this would work with Knoppix linux? (It would be much easier than installing Linux).

And/or, is vmware a Linux emulator of some kind?

VMware is a hardware virtualization layer. Allowing you to create various "virtual" computers running on the host OS. There are both Linux and Windows versions(the 4th screenshot is running VMware in Windows, running linux, emulating a Mac). The software can be purchased from www.vmware.com.

Amazing that it was finally done and I can't wait until it becomes public.

Thanks. This is great.

I'll probably install Linux soon anyway, just for this.

Jim, this image isn't showing up either. As of so far only the fourth is appearing. They may be showing up because they are in your cache, while the host doesn't actually allow offsite linking. I can (temporarily) throw them up on a server if you'd like.

Can you right-click on the red x, choose properties, copy the link, paste the link in the address bar and then see them?

While they may be in my browser's cache (Damn Delphi), it may also be that people logged into Delphi can see them or possibly your particular browser?

Anyone else see them\don't see them? I'd like to know.

I can't see the first 3.

If I try to view them using the right-click/properties/paste-into-browser method, a page comes up asking me to log into the delphi forums.

OK. Thanks for that info. Delphi started doing that without telling their paying members. Sorry about that.
