C++ Runtime Error

Hi. So I have Sheepshaver successfully installed on Windows XP. I am using the 6-5-2013 version of sheepshaver.

I'm trying to run the game Nanosaur. I successfully installed it and It successfully opens and shows me the opening credits. However, just before it gets to the game menu, it gives me this error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!
Program ...\SheepShaver\SheepShaver_06-05-2013.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

IIRC Nanosaur came bundled with the iMac Bondi blue.
I know it was running fine with the original OS8.X on the PowerPC 750 - my little nephew used to play it decades ago.
I do not think that games meant for the G3 (PPC750) ever worked with the earlier Macs like the PowerPC 604(e).
SheepShaver partially emulates the PowerPC 604, so you are out of luck, I´m afraid.

Edit: Seems my memory was not entirely right. The game is said to be compatible with a 603e or better.
BUT the game needs a dedicated ATI graphics card, which SheepShaver has (of course) not.

Game requirements:

Nanosaur 1.0 or 1.0.6 will run on Mac OS 8.0 - 8.5

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

• At least a 120mhz 604e Macintosh or 180mhz 603e Macintosh.
Note that Nanosaur will not run on a 601 Macintosh!

• A game-capable 3D Accelerator card such as the Rage II or
Rage Pro from ATI. Note that you should install the latest
version of the ATI 3D driver in order for many of the effects in
Nanosaur to work properly.

• QuickDraw 3D 1.5 or newer (preferably 1.5.4)

• QuickTime 2.5 or newer.

• DrawSprockets 1.1.2 or newer.
