Re: Audio stutters on Starship Titanic
The issues are related to the QuickTime versions installed with MacOS. See previous posts in this thread:

Re: Audio stutters on Starship Titanic
Hi Guys.
Ive been reading through the posts relating to Starship Titanic. I played the game many yeas ago and have subsequently decided to give it another go.
I am running an iMac with OS Sierra. I have followed a tutorial and installed SheepShave with the NewworldRom, installed OS 9.0.4.
I have downloaded the Starship cds (Toast) and mounted them on the desktop through Sheepshaver preference menu.
I can install the game but When I come to load it.
PLEASE INSERT DISC 1. I have seen this posted but have not seen a solution.
I have tried to mount the images using VirtualCD imager but it tells me i have insufficient resource.
I set up a 1gb HD to install the OS9 on to.
Any help would be greatly welcomed.
Cheers
Chris

Re: Audio stutters on Starship Titanic
When I tried the game, I did not need VirtualCD imager. Make sure you lock the three CD images in macOS Sierra Finder Info panel. When mounted in SheepShaver (volumes list in SheepShaver preferences) the locked files will appear to the game software as the actual CD's.
Make sure you remove all QuickTime related files from MacOS 9.0.4 before you install the game and with it QuickTime 3. If you leave newer QT files in place the game will have sound issues: http://www.emaculation.com/forum/viewto ... nic#p49485

Re: Audio stutters on Starship Titanic
I found out that the versions of the CDs I downloaded were not complete.
For future reference please download from

Game runs good. Is there a way for me to increase the Window size?
Kind Regards
Chris

With window size, do you mean the game display size or the SheepShaver window?
