Command-clicking fails when mouse has moved

Post by DrLex »

I am not sure if this was already the case before I upgraded to El Capitan, but I just noticed that command-clicking no longer works correctly in HyperCard unless care is taken to not move the mouse between pressing down the key and clicking. As soon as the cursor moves even just one pixel, the click will become a regular click (this can be seen when hovering over text, the cursor will change back from the 'hand' to the regular text cursor). Not a big deal, but maybe it's easily fixed in some next release…

Actually it is somewhat worse: the command key down state is entirely lost when moving the mouse, so trying to do command-Q will not work if the cursor has moved in between pressing command and Q. So far, I have only seen it in HyperCard…
