Network problems in Debian 8

Post by bigmac »

I run System 7.5.5 on SheepShaver. If I use the "wlan0" network device, then I can't access any webpages. If I enter "slirp" into the network devices box, then I can access one webpage, but when I try to access another, SheepShaver crashes, saying "Segmentation fault". I use iCab 2.9.9.

I haven't compiled /dev/sheep_net, because I couldn't.

Make sure you enable "Ignore Illegal Memory Accesses" in SheepShaver settings.

In the prefs file, that would be a line:

Code: Select all

ignoresegv true

"Ignore Illegal Memory Accesses" is enabled, but it still crashes with "Segmentation fault".
