After Dark in OS 8.6

I found a download of After Dark 4, which I installed successfully in Basilisk II running 7.5.3

I have installed exactly the same download in Sheepshaver running 8.6, and it SEEMED to install successfully, and the Demos play fine. BUT... Sleep Corners don't work, and whatever I set the time to, it doesn't run. I can run it manually in Demo mode, with the window more or less out of the top left corner (just the STOP button showing), but it's not exactly ideal.

Why does it work in Basilisk/7.5.3 but not in Sheepshaver/8.6?

After Dark 4 will work in System 7 through MacOS 7.6 and it may work in MacOS 8.0.and 8.1. Apparently it does not work in MacOS 8.5 through 9.x without modifications. Some info can be found on the Macintosh Garden site.
