Hello, I'm trying to use SheepShaver 2.4.
I have a Mac Mini Intel Core 2 Duo (2009) with Mac OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.
I have downloaded MacOS 9 disk image, MacStartup.img
When I attempt to launch the application, I receive an error message that reads,
"This startup disk will not work on this Macintosh model. Use the latest installer to update this disk for this model."
Hence the application does not launch.
Please help.
Thanks.

Re: SheepShaver for Mac and Startup Disk Image
Solved!
I have downloaded
Mac OS 9 Boot Image (120 megs) (Bootable Image For SheepShaver! Download place in Volumes and hit Start!)
and it works!

Re: SheepShaver for Mac and Startup Disk Image
So you found GS12´s site too.
As SS is up and running, do yourself a favor and install a full featured OS of your choice on a fresh volume to hold all your data.
You may create a volume in the SS GUI or create a DMG of your choice with 10.6.8 mount it with SS and initialize it there.
The Mac Anthology covers a wide variety of system software and languages. The images are not bootable though.
The Anthologies can be found here: http://macintoshgarden.org/forum/max1zz ... mac-server
Some pre-built empty disk images are here: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/disk-images-emulators
As you got 10.6.8 you can prepare disk images yourself easy enough though.
