SheepShaver won't open after reboot.

Post by jordanbaron2 »

I am using SheepShaver on Windows 10. I had everything working, so I went to download Stuffit Expander 2011 to extract some software to use with SheepShaver. When the installation process was done I had to restart my computer. After the restart, I attempted to open SheepShaver, which did not work. There was no error message. It just did not start.

Is that not an OS X version?

Does it do anything, like start to boot? If so, hold down the shift key to boot with extensions off, and get rid of the Stuffit.

It'n not Stuffit Expander, it's happened before just with a normal reboot, but I just deleted SheepShaver and reinstalled it.

Did you make sure to stop SheepShaver (shut down the emulated machine) before rebooting ?

Maybe nvram file?
In Mac OS X I had problems with the NVRAM file, which is an invisible file normally located in the home directory and called .sheepshaver_nvram. I believe the same file is generated in Windows, but I don't know its location.
