Hello,
I have now SheepShaver running fine.
I wanted to connect to Internet, via OS9.04 without any result.
I have configured SheepShaver with slirp
I tried to configure TCP/IP Panel in various manner (Manually, DHCP etc.)
May be someone here has suggestions
Regards

Re: Network on SheepShaver
DHCP should work. If it does not, configure TCP/IP control panel manually for the slirp networking:
IP Address: 10.0.2.15
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Router address: 10.0.2.2
Name-server address: 10.0.2.3
IP Address: 10.0.2.15
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Router address: 10.0.2.2
Name-server address: 10.0.2.3

Re: Network on SheepShaver
Hello
When I disabled AppleTalk (via Apple menu and controlPanel with Appletalk submenu), indicating that Ethernet was the right channel, It started to work (using DHCP)
I think one link was missing within Mac OS9 and has been connected with this configuration
It is just strange that IP address given by DHCP server (10.0.2.5) is not within range of my internal network (192.168.10.XXX)
But it seems to work!!! Again a problem solved
Thanks a lot for your Answer

Re: Network on SheepShaver
Yes, you need to keep the default Ethernet setting.
The slirp networking behaves as a built-in router that connects to the network (wired or wireless) that the host machine is connected to.It is just strange that IP address given by DHCP server (10.0.2.5) is not within range of my internal network (192.168.10.XXX)
