While trying to install networking for Tiger with the PPC 0.4pre release (Tiger itself installed fine and runs really smooth), I had some strange errors; in fact, no error at all. It reports it found TAP, that connection reports a 10 mbit connection, and Mac OS X says it's green (with a pre-defined address; 192.168.0.2 to be exact, while using 192.168.0.1 for the TAP connection). But, if I try to ping from Windows, it get's no pings back, and pinging from Mac OS X (with term), no pings back. But the connection status window in Windows reports packages being transfered; it looks like one-way communication to me. What could be the problem?
I disabled ICS and firewalls, I just wanted to get a ping working; seems like a good starting point to begin with, however even that doesn't work...
This is my config btw:
