PearPC for other OSes (MorphOS, AmigaOS)

Post by sven86 »

Now that MorphOS can be run on an Mac Mini, will it be easier to port it to PearPC?

I think it would benefit the emulator if it can use other OSes such as AmigaOS 4 and the latest version of MorphOS. It would be neat to use MorphOS on a PC.

If you are thinking using PearPC to boot MorphOS directly, I must let you know we do not develop PearPC. No one does these days.
But still, trying to boot some disk with MorphOS could prove a learning experience.
Is there some cd image or pre-installed disk image with MorphOS for PowerPC available?

EDIT: oh, I see, downloading and trying....
I didn't get much further then this:
start: 512
[CPU/CPU] execution started at 00200000
[PPC/DEC] Bad opcode: 00000000 (0:0)
singlestep set from ppc_dec.cc:94, info: unknown instruction
