Hello, and welcome!
There are many ways to install a Mac OS on a PC. You can do this through the help of another program and then it's called emulation (that's what we are about) and by installing the latest Mac OS X directly on your PC.
The emulators we run allow for the old Mac OS-ses to run on our Windows, Linux and Mac OS X machines. But if you want to run the latest Mac OS X directly on your PC, you'll have to look elsewhere. Good places to start are:
http://www.insanelymac.com (they have an extensive hardware list you can check whether your PC would allow OS X to run)
http://www.tonymacx86.com (they have convenient cd rom images, called iBoot, that allow you to start the installation of Mac OS X)
Best,

Re:
Maybe if PearPC also emulates a Memory Management Unit, you could run Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X DP4 under SheepShaver on Mac OS X 10.4 running under PearPC.Cat_7 wrote:I guess you're stuck: sheepshaver can run Mac OS 9, but not OS X, and I think PearpPC can't boot below OSX 10.2

Mac OS X DP4 will not run in SheepShaver, regardless where SheepShaver runs.
