Hi, Welcome

If I remember correctly, you need to shut down PearPC, use the GUI to set the CD entry to Disk 2 of the installer disk set and restart.

mrutah12 ,

I see something wrong here . You said that after you tried installing with Installation Disk 1 , they asked for disc two . You shut it down , replaced Disc 1 with Disc 2 and tried again . However , it will not boot from Disc 2 .

What I think is going on here , is that you're not supposed to boot from Disk 2 . You're supposed to eject Disc 1 DURING the installation and then insert Disc 2 .

However , as I remember , PearPC (and many other emulators) don't allow changing disks during operation . Try doing this :

Change

pci_ide0_slave_installed = 1
pci_ide0_slave_image = "C:\Users\kevin\Documents\Downloads\Mac OS X Install\Mac OS X Install Disc 1.iso"

to

pci_ide0_slave_installed = 2
pci_ide0_slave_image = "C:\Users\kevin\Documents\Downloads\Mac OS X Install\Mac OS X Install Disc 1.iso"
pci_ide1_slave_image = "(The file address of your second disk)"

If that doesn't work , try using

pci_ide0_slave_installed = 2
pci_ide0_slave_image = "C:\Users\kevin\Documents\Downloads\Mac OS X Install\Mac OS X Install Disc 1.iso"
pci_ide0_slave_image = "(The file address of your second disk)"

I am not sure if these will work , as I cannot test them right now (My laptop is broken , I need to wait until it's repaired) . I doubt they will , because I am also baffled by how the pci_ide# works .

Cat7 , Ronald , please correct me if there's something wrong with this .

Good luck .

Or , try this :

pci_ide0_slave_installed = 1
pci_ide0_slave_image = "C:\Users\kevin\Documents\Downloads\Mac OS X Install\Mac OS X Install Disc 1.iso"

pci_ide1_slave_installed = 1
pci_ide1_slave_image = "(The file address of your second disk)"

The pci_ide0_master.... and pci_ide0_slave... only accept 0 or 1 as value: "not installed", or "installed"

Pearpc defaults to starting from the pci_ide0_master, so what you need to do is exchange the two drives: set pci_master... to the hard disk image and pci_slave to the second cd rom image.

Or use prom_boot_method= "select" to be enabled select the hard disk to boot from, instead of the cd image.

I'm sorry , I don't understand that .

You said put pci_ide0_master as the hard disk image and the slave to be the second cd image .

However , as I remember , you cannot change the disk in the drive while PearPC is running .

And as he said , if you try to boot with the hard disk and the second cd image on only , it won't boot , because the second cd image is not supposed to be boot from .

Therefore , he must find a way to place 2 cd images in PearPC at the same time , or find a way to change the cd image while PearPC is running .

I seem to remember that after the installation from the first cd, the hard disk image is bootable.
So you can shut down pearpc, and change the configuration to boot from the hard disk image as master, while setting the second cd as slave. After OSX has started, it will continue the installation.

If this is not the case, then I also seem to remember that you can deselect all packages (except base package) so the second cd image is not needed for the installation. The packages on cd 2,3 and 4 can be installed after boot from the hard disk image.

There are also older pearpc versions that support CD change through a button at the top of the pearpc window or through a key-combination
