Mail wasn't being sent by the server to user accounts since the change of hosts. It should be fixed now.

New registrations worked, but users didn't get confirmation that they had signed up. That could account for the low volume of posts here over the last week (or not!!).

Also, if you posted in a thread that someone had "subscribed" to, an error would come up (although, again, the post would go through).
