I have a web app that Im going to use a program to wrap it as a native app. To do that I need to run Xcode and the iPhone SDK.
Apple say that for the iphone SDK to run you need Mac OS X v10.5.5 to run the iphone SDK?

I dont have the money to go and buy a new mac just to run the program that will wrap my web app into a native app. So what are my option to run an emulator on my PC so I can have something that will operate Mac OS X v10.5.5, Im not clued up on emulators so I dont know where to start or what I can do to run the Mac OS I need, Can it be done?

What are my options to do this short of buying a new mac computer. What is available in the world of emulation that can achieve the aim I am looking for?

Emulation is a no-go for you. PearPC runs up to 10.4.11 emulating a PowerPC processor, SheepShaver up to 9.0.4 and BasiliskII up to 8.1

The only way to get 10.5.5 running on a PC would be to build a "hackintosh".
(A PC on which you install some hacked Mac OS 10.5)
