NetBSD Anyone?

Post by The Balance Of Judgement »

I am going to install NetBSD on my Basilisk II machine, just wondering if anyone else would like the image after it's done.

I looked up the system requirements and as long as you emulate a 030 you don't need MMU.

NetBSD isn't a graphical OS per say, but for those who are into linux, you might enjoy playing around with it.

So let me know if you want the image after.

Let us know after you install it. The 68k Linuxes usually require a SCSI hard drive, not a disk image (HFV). Good luck!

You "might" have better luck using SoftMac as Darek has implemented a more complete MMU on it and the native SCSI HDFs it uses will allow you to create A/UX partitions.
