JIT Problems

Post by Guest »

I downloaded Basillisk 2 JIT and installed it, I was wondering if i need to do any compiling crud, (I hope not :?) Also, I added the rom image and the starterdisk drive and when i boot it sits there with a grey backround and the cursor... Not even a disk with a question mark... Any help?

JIT

Post by The Balance Of Judgement »

By default JIT does not any extra work done by the user. If you have not already, make sure you download the hacked version of the Basilisk II GUI which lets you enable and set various options for JIT.

When a mac first boots, it may take a bit for it to recognize the hard disk, so this wait period is normal, especially within Basilisk II...future boots may not be so long.

Does your hard disk have a proper system folder on it?

Hope that helps. If it still just sits there, then maybe try another hard disk file, there are lots of sites that have them.
