I am currently running Basilisk II on a MacBook Pro. I have read the guide as to how to get online while in Basilisk II and have downloaded icab successfully. However, when I go to system preferences on my actual mac os x operating system, there are two dns servers separated by a comma. which one am i to use. in addition, there is a search domain. Am I supposed to enter that into the TCP/IP settings as well? Am I even able to connect to the internet in Basilisk? Because I am in a college dorm room and when normally connecting on a regular computer, a web page pops up and you have to authorize that you have paid to get internet in the dorm. I don't know if this web page will pop up in Basilisk or not or if I just can't connect period. Any help out there?

The guide that you probably read is more geared to Windows.

For the Mac OS X port, it should be much, much simpler:

The entire guide to getting online in the OS X version of Basilisk:

"Select Slirp to enable the build-in DHCP server. In Mac OS, use the TCP/IP control panel to set configuration to automatic, using DHCP. "
