Hello! Thank you very much for such a great site.
I installed basiliskII on Mac OS X 10.6.2 and tried to install then a ReBirth RB-338 2.0, but every time i tried, the following message appeared
"The application program "Install ReBirth RB-338.dmg" could not be opened, because an error of type -192 occurred".
What shall i do in this case to finally install that program?
Thank you!

Did you try to open the .dmg image INSIDE Basilisk II?
BTW , what is ReBirth?

You see , I asked that because if you tried to open it INSIDE Basilisk II , it's not an application . It's a disk image(as you should know) and that only PowerPC or Intel Mac OSXes can open .dmg files .

Once again , that is if you did try to open it INSIDE Basilisk II .

Yes, i tried to open the .dmg inside basiliskII.
ReBirth is a software synthesizer and a drum machine.

As I have said just now , dmg files CANNOT open in Basilisk II no matter what program you use . You must open it in your OSX , put it in a dsk or img file and insert that dsk/img file inside Basilisk . Once again , convert the dmg or copy the files to a dsk/img file and insert it into Basilisk . If you want to download dsk/img files with Basilisk II's browsers , install Disk Copy(listed on the 68k software page) so your Basilisk II can open dsk/img files internally .

I suppose I shall start the new topic, but may be somebody knows that already, maybe....
It is very easily to get error description in... MacsBug! (in prompt: error #-192) But, I can't invoke MacsBug (and also any other debugger like ABZmonPPC too). Yes, I can't even just enter *any* debugger, even that simply ROM's one, and can't even get Force Quit DSA dialog, and even can't click on "Restart" DSA button (on some early DSAs) just to reboot. Maybe I'm so stupid so I can't write my own "raw keycodes" file, or I'm just so stupid so I can't figure out which keys to type to get Command+Option+Power combination.

UPD: it's -192, very common Resource Manager error ("resNotFound: Resource not found"), means that there's no such resource (returned from some resource manager toolbox routine)
