I now have Basilisk II running System 7.5.3 under Ubuntu linux. My main reason for using it is that I have a PowerPC 8200/120 which will not boot and I am hoping to use Basilisk to create a boot disk.

Can anyone advise me how to create a boot disk, either CD or floppy, using Basilisk? I've tried to find info on the web but no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You could try to download some of our boot disk images from our help guides and use the "dd" command to copy them to a 1.44 HD floppy.
This can be done outside Basilisk, from the linux command prompt.
Please check the syntax for the command. It should be something in form of "dd if=floppy.image of=/dev/fd0"

Best,
