I installed BasiliskII following this guide: http://emaculation.com/doku.php/basiliskii_osx_setup
After booting up with BasiliskGUI using the settings changed at the bottom of the page I'm met with a screen with a picture of a floppy disk and a blinking question mark. At this point I'm at a loss in terms of what's wrong, so any help will be appreciated!

Re: Trouble booting to OS
Look very carefully at the section headed Running BasiliskIIGUI, and the step in that section headed:
2. Configure preferences in Volumes tab
Make sure you have followed it exactly and in every detail.

Re: Trouble booting to OS
Last time I tried the server for downloading the smis from Apple was down.
I know this is unrelated to MacOSist`s issue.
Still this may help: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macos-753-emulators
Its a bootable image, I made some time ago. It includes the installer files for anybody wanting to set up another pristine volume.
Make sure that the image is on the topmost place in the "Volumes" tab.

Re: Trouble booting to OS
Well, I redid a clean setup and now Basilisk is working. I also ended up doing a chubby bunny install as well, which was less painful. I think Basilisks at OS 7.53 works a little bit better with my game, but we'll see. Thanks!emendelson wrote:Look very carefully at the section headed Running BasiliskIIGUI, and the step in that section headed:
