I Got Colour on System 6.0.7 And it Worked.
Do not get colour on system 6 at all because RichardG did the colour on system 6.0.8

Did you do anything special? Another poster (as you mentioned) seemed to have problems getting color to work.

I managed to get color in System 6.0.5, 6.0.7, 6.0.7.1j, 7.0.1, 7.1, 7.1.1 and 7.5.3.
I couldn't get color in all systems earlier than System 6 , and in 6.0.8.

Scrap that, I was able to get color but in 6.0.8 and 7.x only. Earlier versions still bomb, except and display corrupted.

These look more like videos of NOT getting color on System 6.0.8. :(
