Hi, I'm running mini vmac as a mac plus, and I have system 6.0.8 installed, which was easy enough. But I can't get system 7 from the Apple system site, because it appears to be in a format that I can't open, either in Windows or in the mini vmac itself. I don't have an OS X mac to open it on. It looks like the 7.5.5 updates may be openable on the vmac, but the updates need 7.0 to be there.

Does anyone know of any tricks for getting 7 set up?

I was using this self mounting images some time ago.

As far as I recall, I downloaded them to BasiliskII and made a install for Mac+ / every Mac on a empty image to be used with MiniVMac.
There is also a ready made image for booting MiniVMac (and others) here:

Thanks! That works. A few extensions won't load on my mini vmac plus emulation, but I'm working through them.
