Probably because the red hat wore all his hair off.

I have all the correct syntax, but all that returns is:
Quote:
ERORR: Can't open input file.

Is my file curropted or am I messed in the head?

Sorry, I was reading your rules, and it might sound that I stole the image. It is off a disc tiger disc my frinds let me borrow. But all I got was a .dmg file.

If you do not own the original CD, then it is considered warez. It'd be better if you don't mention what you're trying to convert, just ask for help about the process. Say you're trying to convert a picture CD or something.

Just wanted to say THANKS to vu1tur for his dmg2iso tool -especially for having created an .exe version of it, really didn't feel like installing Perl on my desktop PC

Secondly I was wondering why all this paranoia about downloading "illegally" and using this dmg2iso utility "wrongly"... While I understand and agree that there should be zero tolerance here for discussing where to find pirated software, things like:

http://wsidecar.apple.com/cgi-bin/nph-r ... 10.3.5.dmg

are perfectly legal since available from Apple's Web site...

So not e'thing .dmg is warez, ya know...?

I'm getting the same error, except I'm trying to convert imap.dmg

when using dmg2iso.exe i keep getting:

"ERORR: Can't open input file."

and yes im seemingly using the same format everyone seems to correct to:

"dmg2iso.EXE myFile.DMG myNewFile.ISO"

ive also tried lowercase (.dmg & .iso) same error appears, as some of you may know the "ERORR" comes from v0.2c by vu1tur

yes the .exe is in the same directory as the .dmg....

a quick note: the .dmg was archived into ".r00" being the first file all the way to ".r70", a RAR exractor has extracted the file into the current directory in which both the .exe and .dmg files exist

oh and furthermore ive also used dmg2img.exe and the same error occurs except the error is spelled correctly: "ERROR"....

help and advice is muchly appreciated

thanks,
codingConfusion

Well, as you might have noticed, this thread is five years old.

Instead of dmgtoiso, maybe try this program:

http://www.ezbsystems.com/ultraiso/

"Supports nearly all known CD/DVD image file formats (.ISO, .BIN, .IMG, .CIF, .NRG, .MDS, .CCD, .BWI, .ISZ, .DMG, .DAA, .UIF, .HFS and so on) , and can convert them to the industry standard and widely supported ISO image format."
