1) Where do I download 0.3.1 ? It still says 0.3 on the main page.
2) If Right-Alt is no longer mapped as Option, then what is the "new" Option key?

0.3.1 is still if development (it is named 0.3.1pre - you can get it from CVS).
About the option key, i don't know (honestly i didn't even know it was mapped to right-alt)

Im running PearPC Athlon XP otimized build and its version is 0.4pre?!!

I ran yesterday the 0.4 pre trunk Altivec (experimental) from Richard Goodwin and...
The '`'/'~' key was correctly mapped
The Right Alt was mapped as "Option"
The progs that not running in earlier Altivec implemented versions run now (Including Word 2004 Drive Test and all system preferences)
The system runs smoothest

- I don't know anything about the network possibilities, because I'm under a firewall (provider's) and I didn't succeed anything with networkin, with any tested version (including versions thats other of you are succeeded).

I'm verry happy,

Congratulations Richard Goodwin

I´ve tried to run this version with my CFG file and it didn´ recognize my hdd image! What happened?

The same cfg used with other builds works perfectly.

Does anyone think that the 0.3.1 release was rushed? PearPC as a whole crashed with 0.3.1 official, which has never happened to me before. tekmaven's 0.4pre builds work better than 0.3.1 official. Oh well. All I can do is wait for 0.4 official.

In the era of 0.4pre, many builds seem to be switching the hard drive's 3 and 2 partitions. Set prom_env_matargs to "s", and boot from your installation CD. Run pdisk, and switch your 2 and 3 partitions. Don't forget to comment out prom_env_matargs when you're done. If you don't know how to change partitions, they say it in the topic (now a FAQ) How to install panther *without* Darwin.

EDIT: sorry. meant to say prom_env_machargs.

0.3.1 works rather well short of Networking for myself. couldn't get Networking to work with my Static assigned IP using the RTL installed as i've been able to with the 0.3 100% of the time.. minor issue it is anyways as i am mostly concerned with Software functionality at the moment.

0.4pre Build Updated again!
Quote:
- config: "ppc_start_fullscreen" for starting in fullscreen mode

from:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/p ... &view=auto
Now you can turn on Full Screen mode on startup.(by setting ppc_start_full_screen to non-zero)
You need this updated ppccfg.example file:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/p ... &view=auto
(also you can add "ppc_start_full_screen = 0" to your config file after "ppc_start_resolution = "800x600x15" ")
Good Luck
