UPDATE: 4:15 PM
Well....
Managed to uncheck boxes for uneeded packages (even though I can't see checkboxes)....
Clicked on Install button (even though I can't see checkboxes)....
Then got the following Error Message:
"Could not prepare volume for installation.
There were errors installing the software.
Please try installing again."
Well, there went 5.5 hours down the drain....
So problems seems to be:
1) Somethings not set right as OSX Install windows didn't show any checkboxes, buttons to click, scroll bars, etc. Also, what should be that stripey looking background pattern in window was just black. Probably why I can't see buttons, etc...just can see text in little gray rectangle set into that black background.
Any ideas on how to change display settings for this??
2) Figured something wasn't quite right when after selecting the '2.9 GB' hard drive image it said 'Erase and format destination as:' at bottom of gray rectangle window....I assume there was other info there as I didn't see anything or a place to type in or select choice....
Also, assume this may relate to the error message I got above after OSX Install process started about 'Could not prepare volume for installation....'
Any ideas on how to deal with this one??
Any other thoughts???
Thanks!
Mark
