System 6 Shareware Games

Post by ClockWise »

I'm working on a collection of ShareWare Mac games from the 1980s:

http://emaculation.com/doku.php/system_6_hell

For ease of use, the games are all being presented as disk images that can be mounted in Mini vMac.

I'm only looking for shareware/freeware games.

And only stuff from the 80s!

If you've got some of that, do pass it along. Unless anyone gives recommendations or passes something along, I will just comb through the Macintosh Garden alphabetically...

Just for fun, I guess. If I don't limit myself, there is probably a thousand pieces of software I could upload...

Aah. I would think that Mac Plus and System 6 compatible would be a little bit broader range of SW... and it might include some Sim games! I like the sim games. :P

The sim games are commercial and cannot be distributed freely. We try to keep this site free of illegal downloads (and direct links to illegal downloads).

Is it freeware/shareware?

I've been adding games alphabetically, but I will skip right down to S. Just for you!

Not sure, but I've been using it, and haven't noticed anything saying it's shareware, so I assume it's probably freeware/commercial...

Rescue! is free now, and I think it dates back to the 80's. Not sure where to find it, though.

Now updated to include 33 old games and applications!

I really liked Ford Simulator II:

http://emaculation.com/doku.php/system_ ... mulator_ii

It is an advertisement for the hottest cars of 1989.

And I also liked this early 3D modeller a lot:

I added two new games, and one old version of an existing game!

This was because I received some game files via e-mail! Horray! Please send games or at least make requests to me via this address:

We're now up to 50 games and apps. The fiftieth is a very special one... Kid Pix. Now available is the original shareware version of the classic children's art program from 1989:
