Seriously, with real PPC Macs on Ebay for pennies, is it really that important to have a PPC emu?

Lets just say this...

Unless someone comes out with a software-based PPC emulator for the IA-32, then I will have to say I will take a PPC Macintosh over a emulator any day.

Sure, we could use a daughterboard with a PPC processor on the board, but then that wouldn't be exactly emulation, would it?
