Basilisk II old GUI for Windows 7

Post by sheepmyshaver123 »

Not working and the Stackhash occured when trying to run BasiliskIIGUI.exe from non-JIT Basilisk II build 142. I've using the laptop with Windows 7 ultimate final version RTM.

I have a similar situation. I'm using Basilisk II 1.0 on Windows 7, and I can't run basiliskIIGUI.exe either. All the text characters are boxes. I must be missing some piece of the program, but I don't know what it could be. It says it can't open the ROM file, but I have that downloaded and in the Basilisk directory. The same thing happens when I try to install SheepShaver.

Hi,

Is this on 64 bit Windows7? do you have the files B2WIN16.DLL and B2WIN32.DLL in the folder where the GUI is?

As said in the SheepShaver forum, I have no problems in 32 bit Windows7

Best,

Fixed. It must be virus infected by the GUI.
