I tried playing Apeiron on SheepShaver but noticed the mouse movements aren't picked up, and found a post saying to use Basilisk with "more complete ADB mouse emulation". But I saw that in builds newer than 142, this option and many other options have disappeared. Why is that? Is there a chance this option or any of the others will ever come back?

First: What is your host system? Are you running Basilisk II in Windows?

If it is not in the new builds, it probably won't come back. Basilisk II is not being very actively developed. Work on the emulator now is more for maintenance purposes.

But maybe if someone who is doing some of that maintenance sees your post here, some of that old code could be re-inserted. Maybe. But don't hold your breath.

That game should run fine in Basilisk II build 142 in Windows as long as you check that box for more complete mouse, by the way. It is mentioned in our compatibility notes:

In case you don't have it, build 142 is here:

I'm on Windows XP SP3 32-bit. As it turns out the new builds don't work on my computer anyway (black screen), so I guess this is a non-issue, in a way.

You can check the sticky for a fix for the black screen... but that just means downloading an old build, like you already have.

There are a number of posts on the forum suggesting fixes, but none work in every instance.
