I gotta say, I'm actually kinda excited that I can use Internet Explorer 5.2 for Mac on Snow Leopard. I'm typing from it now, and it really seems to work well! OS X 10.3 programs won't die out, it seems. Got it from the install CDs. Any other older apps that are interesting to report?

On Intel Macs, PPC applications will run in Rosetta. With Tiger for Intel and with Leopard, Rosetta was installed by default on Intel Macs. With Snow Leopard, Rosetta is optional. You can choose to install it directly with the system installation or you can install it later from the install DVD.

If Rosetta is not installed and you try to launch a PPC application, Snow Leopard will offer the option to install Rosetta through Software Update.
