There are a couple of old emulators that never quite hit the mainstream. Thier origins are lost in the mists of time. This is what we know about them:
If you are a vMac user, you may wish to explore the use of WORM. WORM emulates a Mac Plus. It functions much better than the original vMac
emulator, but doesn't really compare to the Mini vMac spin-off. WORM was created by the author of Gemulator and SoftMac to sort of "show up" the vMac team.
The only downside to this emulator is that it does not support sound, and is no longer updated or distributed by its creator (check below for a download link).
Another emulator availble is called EmMac. Not too much is known about this emualator, other than the fact that
it was created long ago by Ciobbo Giuseppe. All documentation is in Italian, with no English version forthcoming. EmMac does
not seem to emulate even System 7.x. Unless you are a diehard emulation grognard, you can forget about using this one.
It does not have an official website at this time (check below for a download link).
