E-Maculation News: December 2009
Wiki Updates
Lots of little updates to the wiki:
- I've updated the Basilisk II, Mini vMac and PearPC sections to post the latest files and to make things easier for new users.
- Also, I have updated the all downloads page and the unofficial releases pages to include the latest stuff.
- I've made a little page that includes downloads, information and screenshots related to the PearPC Control Panel
- Finally, I've posted a few more old items into the news archive. It now goes back to February 2004.

New Mini vMac!
There is a new version of Mini vMac available on the official site. Version 3.1.3 is officially released and there is also a new alpha release with improvements to the Mac II emulation.
We have some built versions of the alpha and some screenshots in our forum.

pce/macplus
There is a new (to me) Mac Plus emulator available. It is called “pce” and is part of a suite of computer emulators. I tried out an early version a few months ago, and at the end of November an update was made available. Check out our pce/macplus section for all the information. Do post your comments and experiences in the site forum.

Welcome to December
It's December!
I've updated a few things around the site. Nothing too fancy, but you can see new screenshots in the Basilisk II and SheepShaver wiki entries. Please e-mail me if you want to share some screenshots. And I've also uploaded a new archive of pre-jit build 94 to the Basilisk II section. The old one, prepared in 1999, was sometimes difficult to expand using modern expanding programs.
I've also uploaded a few benchmarks submitted by a site reader.
Meanwhile, the forum has been very busy this past month. Do stop by for a visit. November saw a ton of posts to the SheepShaver forum. One member has started a vMac application site that includes some “abandonware” titles that I don't host here.
That's all for now. More updates as they happen…
