E-Maculation News - September 2020

If you visit the forum you will see that it has been upgraded to a more modern platform, with a new style that has been customized to suit our needs. The old style (in used since about 2004) will be sadly missed, but it was time.

Meanwhile, the wiki itself has been updated, though those updates are a bit less visible.

Once again, I'm sorry about not updating the “news” section here much, but I promise (really!) to post updates on a regular basis. A couple things from the past few months are worth mentioning:

• Paul Pratt (Mini vMac) has provided a modified version of The Unarchiver to expand System 6 disk images from Apple. This is helpful, since Stuffit for Windows doesn't really work in Windows 10. I'll rewrite the Mini vMac setup guide to reflect this.
• There was a new build of Basilisk II for Windows in April.
• Lauri Pesonen (original author of the Basilisk II Windows port) popped into Macintosh Garden to share some stories and memories.
