This will help immensely. On a more serious note, if you really want use that DMG file read on. I'm going to impart this information in the assumption you're not using a pirated or in anyway illegally obtained copy of whatever software or files are in that DMG file. (Even though I know you're BSing...

Now you're somewhat legal. :P If you follow the DMCA it's possibly illegal to run OSX on anything but Mac hardware. That and sharing it with your friends is considered piracy too, but IHMO (not a lawyer, so don't listen to me, and technically it's still illegal) it's OK to share it for experimentati...

Out of curiosity why'd we make a poll out of this?

And *only* OSX.2 (.1 maybe, couldn't tell you) and up work with PearPC ATM. I'm not sure but I heard the coders are working on OS9 support.

PS: MSGplus includes spyware. It's an option but uninstalling doesn't get rid of it. (It didn't when I had it.)

Front page seems updated. Check it out... Wow... some script kiddie knows how to run an exploit script on a two year old version of Nuke. Wow... that's a real skill. Anyways, I've not had the offers of help that I really need to continue the site (though thanks to those who DID offer something), so ...

It seems likely that CPU is the blame for this, although Linux doesn't care what CPU is used, so maybe it's just that Windows lacks certian features that Linux has to overcome CPU differences. The AltiVec emulation code uses MMX or SSE optimizations were suitable. I was using gcc intrinsincs, not d...

If they don't show us the source and we know for a fact that it's pearpc I hope slashdot readers rape them for all their worth...something like that anyway.

Let me try to explain my line of thought-experiment, and let it be clear this is not what I think is going on. But it's possible: Maui X-Stream makes an announcement stating they deliver an OSX emulator, that clearly seems to be a rip-off from Pearpc. To not loose face after the hustle this announc...

Yeah, the whole .10 thing is rather confusing. Under the normal deciaml system .10 is the same as .1, but the folks at kernel development as well as GNOME and a few other packages rather enjoy the .10 and even .20ness.

I'm using the UNIX version (on linux), so it shouldn't be a problem...but it is.

PearPC (seems) stabler, and so I figured that if it's using 9.2 (less "heavy" perse compared to X) it should run faster.

In the source there is a directory (SheepShaver/src/Unix/Linux/networking...or was it sheepnet?), type make, and then su to root and then type make install (I think, I've never actually done this). Kernel 2.6 breaks this module at compile time, thus you will need 2.4. To this end you will also need ...
