Hi guys, this is my first post on this board but I'm reading it for a long time... Thanks a lot for every help I've found here :) I had the same blackscreening problem with every win/SDL build but now I've found a solution that fit perfectly for me: I'm logging in windows xp using a Power User acco...

Yes I tried messing around with the display settings without any luck. I'm using SDL-1.2.7. Moving from SheepShaver to a real Mac

There is the problem : I'm trying to re-use a Performa 6200 (PPC for those who don't know) and since I got Mac OS 8.6 well installed in SheepShaver, I'd like to move the contents of my .hfv file containing 8.6 to the mac hard disk (which is connected to my PC by IDE) and of course make it be bootabl...

Basilisk II *still* blackscreening

I tried that May 1st build for Windows, and it's *still* blackscreening for me (I've had this issue with every 1.0 build IIRC). I'm using SDL 1.2.8 and GTK+ 2.8.6 RC3, and I deleted the previous BasiliskII_prefs file.

If anyone could tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I haven't tried running Mac OS 6 in Basilisk II for a while, but I know from testing many roms that the oldest ROM that will work properly with Basilisk II is the Mac IIci, and it can run as low as Mac OS 6.0.4. I'd try with that one if I was you, actually that's pretty much the only one you can try...

And command (apple logo) is the mac equivelent of the windows key so you could map command to windows.

That's how I'd have it.
Yeah, but that would only move the problem to the Command key..

btw, when deleting this one and generating a new one with the GUI, it SIGSEGV's while booting, and it'll work normally (and extremely slowly) with JITC disabled and extensions disabled.

Reminds me strangely of the first Windows release..

Just can't start 2.3 (nor the new Basilisk)

My problem is desesperetingly simple, when I try to launch the latest builds of Basilisk or SheepShaver (in Windows), they just won't start. When I start them, nothing shows up, the process appears in the taskmgr for a short time (less than half a second for 128 MB of RAM, like 15 seconds for 512 MB...

I'm not using the latest version but I'll say no. Just reboot with 800x600 settings on to play that game... booting goes so fast, it's not such a problem I guess.. or get used to 800x600 ;)

Sheepshaver screwin' up my disk images

I've just tried installing QuickTime 3 from some CD in SheepShaver, on MacOS 8.6, and when I restarted, I was asked to format my second vritual hard drive (or whatever u wanna call that). When trying to open HFVexplorer (oh yeah, the screwed up disk image is .hfv), it tells me about this image : &qu...
