Hello. I have, installed the newest Mandrake 10.2, Limited Edition 2005 today.. Now i wonder if somone can tell me and other witch, packets we have to install to make SheepShaver compile correctly on whis system. Whis system is striped soo much libraries ans so on is not included on the 3 Cd version...

Today, i thinked to get SheepShaver for Windows a try again, i downloaded the latest Win32 Exe from gwenoles site, SheepShaver-2.2-20050321.win32.zip, i also downloaded the latest SDL.DLL file, SDL-1.2.8-win32.zip. I have putted, in the right path to my ROM file, but then i trie to start SheepShaver...

Never mind, i got it to work now.. thanks anyway =)

Yes, i do... but i have seen all depends on which SDL.DLL file u use, now i have got Sheep Shaver to run..but not to boot my, MacOS

I have downloaded the newest windows Exe of SheepShaver from gwenoles file area, i've also downloaded the latest SDL.DLL file 1.2.8..

BUT when i trie to start SheepShaver it CRASH... it's stand somthing about SDL.DLL.. i put a picture here.

Yes, BUT now im confused AGAIN... i sucessfully compiled it with my Mandrake 10.1 install with Enlightenment.. BUT when i trie to start it... IT freeze my whole computer, i have in mind reading about to run it on other Windowmakers and AHA, maybee its Enlightenment who is crashing it... Anyway, i do...

Hi ShadowFox: I have tried what also.. but i get NO errors at all, and now i will put SheepShaver in the closet for a while cose i get up my eyes for PearPC who get MacOS X up and running on my PC, and it WORKS..

What version of MacOS 8 are you using? Tell it to boot, then if you are waiting ages, quite sheepshaver and then restart your computer, then restart sheepshaver. If thatdoesn't work, try using a differne window manager or try using X-Windows on its own (with no window manager) Hope that helps Steph...
