Well, Cheerios is based on 0.3pre Altivec builds. Maybe if you boot Tiger with 0.3pre Altivec.

To everyone who thinks CherryOS is faster than PearPC, set your PearPC's redraw_interval to 10 and disable networking. DONE. PearPC will be so much faster.

10.3 is very easy to setup. I have not tried 10.2 yet, and I think it's only been done by a certain few.

...and it's a copy of PearPC. C:\CherryOS\AstroAMatro is the PearPC config file CherryOS uses, for all you familiar with PearPC.

If he has the actual CD, then he should have no problem using nativecdrom. Retro, download 0.4pre SDL from richardgoodwin.com. Set slave image to your cd drive, and slave type to nativecdrom. Put the cd in the drive and fire up pearpc.

Booting from the Darwin CD insatalled GRUB and nothing else for me.

Rumored somewhere (don't remember where) that the G6 would have full POWER4 integration and could run PowerPC and x86 side by side. Can I get a validation on this?

You don't need Darwin, the guide on pearpc.sf.net is somewhat out of date. Try my easy as hell installer at [url]http://pearpc.zaxgames.com[/url], Mac OS X CD required.

There are many developers who need to maintain linux/ppc downloads, but don't have a linux/ppc computer to build and test them on.

You need to boot from the Mac OS X Install CD with -s to get the prompt.

Runs OS 9, 10.0 and some other non-bootable systems.
