I had this error when I gave more than 512MB of RAM to the emulated Mac.
Giving just 512 MB of RAM resolved the problem.

I downloaded QT 4.1.2, QT 5.0.5 and QT 6.0.3 directly under SheepShaver running Netscape 7. I tested QT 6.0.3 which gives bad result, so I desinstalled it using the installer and I removed some files manually. I tested QT 5.0.5, same result, so I tested QT 4.1.2 which works fine. I can place a wallp...

But you can replace the Finder shipped with Mac OS 9.0.4 by the one shipped with Mac OS 9.1, Mac OS 9.2.1 or 9.2.2

Yes, it's true, my USB mouse isn't supported.

And what exactly doesn't allow the use of USB devices, since USB is supported on real Mac since Mac OS 8.6 ?

One question : since USB devices aren't managed, how can you use an USB mouse, when the Mac hasn't a trackpad ?

Under Leopard or XP, I use a boot disk which weights 1 GB, and it runs fine.
It contains Mac OS 9.0.4 with Finder 9.2.2 and tons of programs.
If you have a lot of programs, you can create several boot disk by duplicating the first one, and adding different programs in each disk.

I saw a Pippin only one time during an Apple Expo in Paris during the 90's. It was a nice object but only few were sold, so games are not legion. If I remember well, the operating system of the Pippin was close to Mac OS 7, but I don't think it was Mac OS 7 itself, so I don't thing it would be possi...

Yes, it's true. I changed the original Mac OS 9.0.4 Finder by the one found in Mac OS 9.2.2, and everything work fine.

Now, it would be marvelous if we could run Mac OS X with SheepShaver.

And it's good for us, as Mac OS 9.1 and 9.2.x don't work with Sheep Shaver.
:'(

Is it possible to imagine a future version of Sheep Shaver which manages Mac OS 9.1 and 9.2.x ?
