I was wondering if there's any chance for a more updated experimental sound-enabled build?
Thanks!

Ah well. Hopefully by the time I get a new Mac, this option will be included in Qemu

Re: Is there a windowed zoom mode?
Sorry, I should've been a bit clearer. So, I like having 640x480 as the resolution for certain games but, the window itself is tiny on my MacBook Pro screen: https://i.imgur.com/dgwwjFf.png Is there a command line option to scale the window up by a factor of 2? That way, the resolution stays the sam...

Is there a windowed zoom mode?
I was wondering if there was a windowed zoom mode similar to the option in SheepShaver & Mini vMac? I know that there is the "zoom to fit" option for fullscreen mode. I'm currently using Qemu-5.2-OSX-Screamer-15-12-2020 due to still being on macOS 10.14.6. Thanks!

Re: Can't get Qemu to boot
Hi, It seems you are missing one "\" ./qemu-system-m68k-AUX-alpha \ If this slash is not there, the rest of the command line will not be read ;-) Best, Cat_7   I didn't even catch that. Thanks  So, it boots but, I'm stuck at this screen now: https://i.imgur.com/qytMYIf.pn...

Can't get Qemu to boot
So, I've followed the preparation steps in the Running qemu-system-m68k with A/UX 3.x guests in macOS guide. Here's what my qemu-m68k.command file looks like: #!/bin/bash cd "$(dirname "$0")" ./qemu-system-m68k-AUX-alpha -L pc-bios \ -m 128 \ -M q800 \ -serial stdio \ -bios Quadr...

USB Floppy Drive support?
I was wondering if QEMU supports USB Floppy Drives? I've got something arriving on Wednesday that I want to archive for the Macintosh Garden. QEMU supporting USB Floppy Drives would be easier than digging out my old iMac.

Re: Mac Wrapper Application
I've been using this super easy setup with Qemu for awhile. For example, here's what I use for my Mac OS 9.2.2 (and for Qemu-4.2-OSX-Screamer-11-02-2020): Mac OS 9.2.2.app/ Contents/ *Info.plist Contents/MacOS/ *AdobeMac.dmg *launcher *Libs *MacintoshHD.dmg *pc-bios *qemu-img *qemu-system-ppc *tap-s...

Re: Having some graphical issues with Mini vMac 36.04
I'm not sure that it's a Retina issue. Both apps had the "High Resolution Capable" option set to "YES" in the Info.plist file. It's really weird. If I select "Open in Low Resolution" in 36.04, it's not a permanent fix. When I move around the window, the image fixes and ...

Having some graphical issues with Mini vMac 36.04
So, I've got a nice setup for Dark Castle & Beyond Dark Castle. Here's the settings I used to compile 3.5.8: -t imch -magnify 1 -bg 1 -ta 2 -speed z -sss 4 -svl 6 -n "minivmac-3.5.8" -maintainer "Silicon Beach Software, Inc.". This produces a pixel-perfect image. I figured I ...

Mounting a mixed-mode BIN/CUE in Qemu?
I was wondering if it was possible to mount a mixed-mode BIN/CUE in Qemu? I'm trying to get the original WarCraft up and running (as the Mac version had cd audio) and I can't figure out how to mount it. Is there a special option for the .command file? Here's what I've tried: #!/bin/sh mypath=`dirnam...

Re: Future Mini vMac support of a Macintosh IIx and 68030?
I just liked how you can magnify the Mini vMac screen and it not be blurry as when you full screen in SheepShaver. My latest SheepShaver build, posted earlier this week, has the possibility to choose different scaling logarithms that will improve display in full-screen mode: Download: https://www.e...

Re: Future Mini vMac support of a Macintosh IIx and 68030?
I´m positive that your MiniVMac II build emulates a 68030 cpu. Fine Artist here runs in Basilisk II just fine: http://macintoshgarden.org/games/ms-fine-artist Maybe you could add your CD image at Macintoshgarden - if it´s not there already, of course. The error you got will be a generic one if the ...

Future Mini vMac support of a Macintosh IIx and 68030?
So, I was wondering if Mini vMac might support the Macintosh IIx and a 68030 in the future? I'm asking because Fine Artist requires a 68030. Which was weird because it was able to install perfectly fine. https://i.imgur.com/41wLgZ0.png I'm running Mini vMac 3.5.8. Here are my compile options: -t imc...

Re: How Can I install Mac OS X Server 1.0 in QEMU?
I followed your command lines exactly and also failed on step 3. I think I found the issue. The installation in OSX doesn't like the qcow2 image to install to. Please try with a raw image. You can make one like this: ./qemu-img create -f raw -o size=2G OSXServer1.2v3.img Best, Cat_7 https://i.imgur...

Re: How Can I install Mac OS X Server 1.0 in QEMU?
Hi, I just redid the installation in OSX. With the inclusion of the additional start of the installation at Step 1 it went correctly. At step2 I saw: continuing done md_shutdown_devices() called. and I then shut down Qemu. However, I did not see those additional lines in other installations. Best, ...

Re: How Can I install Mac OS X Server 1.0 in QEMU?
There is no need to copy the qemu video driver, as the one in the pc-bios folder is the same as the NO256 one. At step 2, you should wait until "continuing" as you did. At this phase, qemu doesn't restart by itself. I would suggest you try step 3 without the -g 1024x768x32 I now redid the...

Re: How Can I install Mac OS X Server 1.0 in QEMU?
Hi, Did the installation in step 2 install stuff? I noticed the disk could not be found to install to if I didn't at least start the installation from CD image in step 1 and let it fail. After that, the installation in step 2 succeeded. You have to wait for the installation to show that it has sync...
