format and write floppy disks

I'd like to be able to format and write to 1.4M diskettes from within Basilisk on my Mac OS X, using an USB floppy disk drive. Is there any way this can be done?

Photoshop monitor problem

"Could not initialize Photoshop because the monitor setup information is invalid." Effectively not able to run Photoshop 2.5.1. or 2.5.2 because of this error. Is this known and is there a solution? More info: I am running Basilisk II with Mac System 7.5.5 on my MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 1...

't is a bit weird. If I disable checksum checking the files mount, and I can even see the contents of the installation disks. However when trying to run the installer I get errors, the software from the mounted images crashes. This happens even if I copy the files away from the mounted disks and try...

I succeeded in doing that - Disk Copy complains it cannot mount the .image files because of an incorrect checksum. I guess I am running out of options. The images are the setup disks for Norton Utilities with which I made a backup I am trying to restore... Anyway thank you for your prompt help so far!

hmm - I am pretty sure these must be mac disks, but MacOS7 complains that it cannot recognise the disk format and wants to initialize it.

I dug up an old cpt archive containing 4 disk images when unstuffed. I unstuffed them on my Mac OS X machine using Stuffit Basic.
