Re: No BII build works under Big Sur since 22nd September 2020

Did you upgrade to Big Sur after you installed and used the 22 September 2020 build? Yes, I've been using HighSierra until late January and upgraded straight to Big Sur Exactly at which point do the later builds crash? At launch? During startup? It was crashing right at the Happy Mac (could see it ...

No BII build works under Big Sur since 22nd September 2020

Hi,

I just wanted to report that none of the BasiliskII build post-22nd September 2020 work for me under Big Sur (instant crash to desktop).
The above-mentioned build works just fine.

Happy to give more information if necessary.

Cheers.

Re: Basilisk II ROM identifier

sentient06 > Here's some feedback.
I'm running mavericks DP7.
Dropping a rom file into Mac ROMan's window doesn't produce any effect.
(tried several rom files)

Re: Slow performance in Mountain Lion 10.8

It has gotten even worse with Mavericks DP6 (well, somewhere between DP2 and DP5 actually).

I tested with SpaceWard Ho! 4, which is now totaly unplayable.

Edit 08/23/2013 : replaced DP5 by DP6

2nd edit : booted 10.9DP6 without extensions (-x parameter), doesn't change anything.

Re: Slow performance in Mountain Lion 10.8

Remember, that is only a dev version Things could change. That's right. This could be a graphic driver issue. If people complaining about slowness with ≥10.8 could tell which video chipset they use, this might give some clue... My hackintosh is running a couple of ATi HD7950. I remember when runnin...

Re: Slow performance in Mountain Lion 10.8

Hi,

I just wanted to report that the slowness problem has gotten worse under OS X Mavericks (Dp1 & Dp2)

Even the 4th October 2009 build seems sluggish now...

Bye.

Hi,

I've been testing this build, and have to report that it's pretty unstable. It crashes by suddenly closing.

Plus, there's a soundmanager error (-200) when running the game "Odyssey: the Legende of Nemesis".

I'll step back to build 07/18/2008 build for now

Bye,

AFAIK, PC floppy readers can't read 800k mac disks.
But they can read 1.4MB floppies.
