Re: Special tab must be held to do shutdown after game
It's Mac OS 9.0.4. PowerPC Enabler 9.0.4. Built-in Memory: 256 MB Virtual Memory: Off But this behavior only happens after the game is run, then quit, and then you want to do a shutdown. If I "boot" Sheepshaver, I can easily go top the Special tab and click it once and it displays the menu...

Special tab must be held to do shutdown after game
I'm using the latest of SheepShaver on a Mac Mini ruining Mountain Lion. When I play the game Mighty Mike (formerly known as Power Pete), when I quit the application and go to do a shutdown using the Special tab, I must click and hold for the Special tab menu to display so I can select shutdown. It ...

What portable device would run SheepShaver?
I've been using SheepShaver on a Mac Pro, and a little on Ubuntu and Windows XP. I mainly use it to play the game Mighty Mike (formerly know as Power Pete). I was thinking, it would be fun to have some portable device to run SheepShaver in order to like this game. If SheepShaver could run on an Andr...

This improved sound for game!
Thanks for providing this new build of SheepShaver. I had been using version 2.3. I mainly use SheepShaver to play the game Mighty Make (formerly known as Power Pete). In the past, the looped music for the game had to be disabled because it would cut in and out so much you couldn't enjoy playing the...

Thanks for the suggestion, Cat_7. I installed Quicktime 4.1.2 and it didn't have any effect with respect to the audio performance of the music in Power Pete/Mighty Mike. Oddly enough, if I play this game on a real Mac G4 running OS 9.2.2 the audio isn't a problem, but on modern hardware of the Mac P...

Weak sound performance with Mac OS X for SheepShaver
Thanks for the posting, Ronald. Apple Audio Extension and Sound Manger are part of Mac OS 9.0.4. I tried those suggestions you were kind enough to offer, however the sound problem remains the same. Is there anything else to try? Would memory allocations make a difference or Disk Cache setting? I'm n...

Sheepshaver audio problems with Power Pete/Mighty Mike
I've been using SheepShaver on a Mac Pro running Leopard and also on a Mac Mini running Snow Leopard. I'm also running SheepShaver on a Thinkpad T43 with Ubuntu. I only have audio problems on the Macs, while there is no problem with it running in Ubuntu on the Thinkpad T43. What happens is the audio...
