I think it may actually be easier to copy the DLL files to the sheepshaver directory. I was kind of hoping that the interface could be switched over to windows-native WinForms, rather than us having to download these extra libraries.

Ya, windows can be silly sometimes :P That's gone to the top of my list for things-to-do-when-something-doesn't-work-on-windows.

Try running it in 32 bit mode, along with making sure you run it as an administrator.

Nevermind, I got it working. Thanks :)

Although... I think I may want to start with some simpler stuff.

Any idea why I would get this error?

I was attempting to check it out like this, by the way:

Checkout from http://www.cebix.net/viewcvs/cebix/SheepShaver/src, revision HEAD, Fully recursive, Externals included

Well, unfortunately TourtiseSVN doesn't quite work like that. What link can I have it check out to?

Hmm... seems to me that that closeness, yet not to so closeness could lead to problems later on, if not already. But thank you none the less. I don't know much about programming, but I think it would be interesting to experiment with it. I just need to figure out how to check out the sources in TSVN...

I've actually been able to boot with OS 9.0.4 and the regular ROM just fine, I think I may have disabled some other options as well. My wish is that the internet gets working. First an XP driver would be nice, because the only driver I can use on XP is the 2K driver, and AFAIK it causes SheepShaver ...

I am kind of curious as to what bug fixes there are since the Jan. 2010 release, is there a place I can find that out?

Perhaps the forum software could be upgraded then?

EDIT: Ok, I'll send it.

Request: SheepShaver for Windows use natvie WinForms

I think it's kind of unnecessary to download and install libraries which use themes that I already have, where as SheepShaver can simply use WinForms, which comes with windows, for it's configurator.

Can you be more specific as to what the program is? Is it the game, the OS inside of SheepShaver, or SheepShaver its self? You can try increasing the memory limit, using a different ROM, updating your current OS, and updating the OS in sheep shaver.

SheepShaver refuses to run if an .iso file is selected.

Hi there, I'm running the January 2010 version of SheepShaver. I'm attempting to boot from an OS 9.0.4 installation image file, and for some reason the SheepShaver.exe file decides to close right away. If I remove that image file, and, say, use a DiskTools.img (notice the .img extension) file, Sheep...

TGP's Useful Mac Utilities (Hopefully)

I found some old floppies lying around, so I thought I might as well upload them as they may be useful to someone. I apologize if I'm uploading stuff that is already here. Keep in mind that these utilities are intended for 7.6 OSes, (or the lack thereof,) so these may not play to well with other ver...
