Having trouble setting up the build 142 to recognize my daemon tools mounted OS 8.1 ISO

Is there a guide somewhere for this?

I did get it installed correctly on BasiliskII_15_01_2010.zip and the bad audio is still there!

http://www.mediafire.com/?z0v9j55lage649p Here is a short recording of MacinTalk doing the same thing I was trying to describe before, this is exactly the same intervals of glitching and everything across multiple programs so it's a real problem. Thanks for trying to help. Its happening on 2 different xp machines and 1 windows 7 machine. Not all of the sounds do this, can you load the "Additive Example #1" preset from the "Best of Disk #1" and hit the play a few times with no glitch?

I only have 1 core and If this program was native to windows I could probably run 1000 instances of it without a glitch so I don't know what to think other than somehow the sound is getting ahead of itself due to so much power. The program uses non-realtime DSP processing and synthesis. I have a fee...

I am more troubled by the "Could not start the application because your computer's ROMs are too old." I get from Turbosynth. The program's first version was made in 1988 and this version was from 1995 so I don't know why it could be too new to run on this. It initializes fine on SheepShave...

What I mean was that by slowing the emulator down, by decreasing the performance it fixes the sound. Normally a sound stutter is due to a lack of power but in this case it seems like too much power/program speed is causing this. So by playing with the Low Power Option I was able to slow it down to f...

Running BasiliskII_27_08_2008 in Low Power Mode completely fixes the sound issue but each time I start it in this mode it seems to work at a random and usually not good speed/usability. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the way Low Power Mode works and after trying 1-10 in the "Milisecond...

Skipping sound vs BasiliskII_27_08_2008

system 7.5.3 in BasiliskII_27_08_2008 on winXP/win7 First I was using the latest version of Basilisk II and while using a sound/synthesizer program (Turbosynth) I would get very stuttery playback in some cases. Switching to the older version of Basselisk II has smoothed out the stuttering playback b...

thanks for the reply. I see the small option for joining in the preferences but I can't pin down how to make this operation work. Stuffit does not recognize the .1 / .2 / .3 extention and selecting them and dragging them onto the icon does nothing.

split sit archive? (.sit.1 .sit.2 .sit.3)

I've got a name.sit.1 name.sit.2 name.sit.3

I assume this is a single sit archive that was split? How can I recombine it?
http://www.mediafire.com/sheepmyshaver1 ... 6ora79qy,1 this is the file in question.

I am on Windows XP by the way.
