Whether I use a netatalk or a real MacOS hosted AppleTalk share, the problem is the same. I simply can't mount a toast image in classic MacOS from an AppleTalk share.

My understanding (I'll see if I can find a link) is that Classic uses the MMU in ways that aren't yet implemented QEMU's SoftMMU implementation.

To be bootable for PPC Mac OS X, a disk not only needs to be formatted 'Mac OS Extended (journaled)', it also needs to be partitioned with 'Apple Partition Map'. My iPad is on 5.0, the project is set for 5.0, but it should be able to be built for previous versions without issue. Screen redrawing seems fine, I at least haven't had any issues with it.
