I'd like to ask, is there any reason why the screamer patches isn't being upstreamed? Like it's been several years and surely it has matured to the point of upstream viability. Or am I missing something?

Re: Qemu package and guide for Windows available

I have no idea how far this will go or which hosts can ultimately benefit. The development of Qemu's 9p support for windows seems to have stalled. Best, Cat_7 Have you guys tried looking at WinUAE's mouse code? The polling rate there is very smooth, and it is very compatible with certain games. As ...

Re: Qemu package and guide for Windows available

I'd like to ask, is the ati-vga device still being developed for qemu? Not to my knowledge. See here: https://osdn.net/projects/qmiga/wiki/SubprojectAti There are, however, developments going on regarding shared folder access/booting from a local disk and virtio-gpu support. Besides that, work is b...

I'll create some new builds when Qemu 8.1 is released.

Re: Qemu package and guide for Windows available

Are the screamer builds still recommended for use? I'm curious if the screamer patches are mainlined into qemu.

Best,

Funny enough, Prime Target's mouse input was tolerable. Unlike DF, M1 and M2 where it was unusable at all. As the camera just skips all over the place.

Re: Mouse Input on Dark Forces and Marathon Engine games?

Have you tried using different virtual input devices? For example, someone made available a tablet driver that works well with -usbdevice tablet . You could also try -usbdevice usb-tablet or -usbdevice usb-mouse The issue is most likely in exactly where the games are getting their pointer tracking ...

Mouse Input on Dark Forces and Marathon Engine games?

Has anyone experienced mouse issues on marathon engine games? Wherein the mouse would just skip on the screen when I drag it. This seems to happen with Marathon 1-3, altho 3 has a work around where I could just use InputSprockets for input and it'll work. Dark Forces is worse since it only jumps to ...

Re: Build 142 on Android?

The one by lubomyr is very slow.Unfortunately jit is not enabled which is the prob of the emulator itself. The reasonbI wan't 142 is that build is comparable in performance as the post-jit versions. Only problem is that it crashes if you clicked outside the window

Build 142 on Android?

Hey guys, did someone already compile Build 142/143 on android? Because I believe that this is the best pre-jit version and it's pretty fast.
