Re: How to re-configure Option and Command keys on Windows?

When I press Option, for instance to make symbols in Key Caps or empty the trash without the dialog box, Basilisk II minimizes to the Windows taskbar when in fullscreen and pops up the Windows start menu when in windowed mode. This is because the Windows Logo key is a shortcut to pop up the Start m...

Re: maybe the slirp codes should be updated...

I was using Neozeed's pcap Sheep browse the Internet with IE 5.1 on the emulator. It was as stable as on a real Mac. However after I switching it to slirp mode and doing the same things, the emulator crashed as usual. But the slirp mode never cause such crash on OS X build. I think the crash was ca...

Re: Sheepshaver won't start

Hi, My opinion is:
  • Stop using Yosmite or anything later. OS X is gettig more like trash. I never install OS X Yosmite +.
Also, does it run without an disk? If it does, then I don't know. Should be compaterbility reasons with Yosmite. Try running with a compaterbility manager.

Re: Can't run Classilla in SS

Yes, this was indeed the problem! Now Classilla is running fine and the icon is showing up, while in My Computer there was a picture of a text file. It will be best if it was mentioned somewhere in a document, rather in Classilla's site or the excellent wiki here, so for newbies it could sp...

1. I don't want to pay for workstation and my computer only runs player 6.0 so it can't create Vm's VMware Player has been able to create VMs since version 3.0. (And even before that, there was always easyvmx.com .) What makes you think 6.0 can't create VMs? Then, why mine can't? EDIT: I checked. I...

Re: Sheepshaver RAM error in Windows

Doesn't Windows have the ability to create sandboxes now? I hadn't heard about that. I Googled a bit and it seems that Windows 10 has some sort of sandboxing capabilities built-in, but nothing user-controllable. My computer is too old to run a sandbox. But it can evidently run VMware Player, which ...

Most recenty when this came up, the copy of Stuffit from http://www.gryphel.com/c/sw/archive/stuffexp/index.html was suggested. Hi, I seems I didn't read your first post correctly. I have no experience with running two instances of SheepShaver. Your system has a limited amount of memory.
